Echo Festival has grown out of a collaboration of talented nights in Brighton that will be bringing their sounds to the Adriatic this summer. The mix of music featured at the event will include funk, soul, disco, hip hop, and reggae, plus house, tech and bass to party on into the night. Acts already on the line-up include Cozzy D, Alexis Raphael, Lee Brinx, Max Chapman, Donga and Gongon, with many more to be added very soon. The festival will be held in the town of Makarska, south along the coast of Split. The festival site is Buba Beach. You will be able to enjoy the music every day from 12pm till 5am.
Located in the pretty setting of Lake Jarun on the outskirts of the Zagreb, the INmusic Festival is smaller than some other events held in similar-sized cities, but it still attracts a number of big name pop and rock acts. Even before last year’s event, top names such as Massive Attack, Pendulum (live), Billy Idol, Lily Allen, NERD, Franz Ferdinand and Moby have all appeared.

What’s great about this festival is the ease in which it can be reached, both in terms of Zagreb and the festival site itself. Croatia’s capital city is just a two-hour flight away from most European capitals, and there’s a few airlines that operate direct flights to Zagreb. Making it’s appearance only last year, Hideout festival made quite an impression with top artists and performers and set the bar high for next year. Located in Novalja, on island Pag, currently one of top destinations for young people in the world, the festival organisers claim it will be even more spectacular than last. Garden Festival is one of the most prominent music festivals in Croatia. This year You will be able to enjoy the festival in Tisno on island Murter (only 20m from the mainland) located between Zadar and Split. In it’s seventh year, the festival will be held from 4th-11th July – the prime time of the touristic season. The location is idyllic private bay with its own sandy beach. Some of the names to make appearance in this years festival are: Odyssey, Norman Jay, Electric Wire Hustle, Soul Clap, Greb Wilson and many others.

The Electric Elephant Festival has a new venue this year. It will be moving to the village of Tisno, which You might remember from Garden Festival. New, better venue, means more content and comfort. Most of performers are still TBA, but we have no doubt they will be great. Organised by UK DJs and promoters, the festival contains a wide mix of music – reggae, electronica, soul, house and techno. You will also be able to enjoy numerous boat parties and a number of other activities.
Seasplash Festival offers something slightly different. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the festival will be taking place over four days. It’s branded as “dance and lifestyle” festival and has a unique mixture of acts and genres – reggae, ska, jungle drum’n’bass, dubstep, electro and many more.

You will have the chance to see both local and international performers in this years line-up, the details yet to be announced. There will be at least five stages with over 60 different acts throughout the festival. You will also have the unique opportunity to enjoy several workshops, boat parties and more.

Soundwave Festival is organised by UK promoters Soundcrash and New Bohemia and is a great opportunity to experience music festival on Adriatic coastline. The festival is perfect wether You’re on Your holiday in Croatia or just looking for a weekend of fun. It’s held in the same location as Garden and Electric Elephant and You can visit all of them if You’re looking for some great time and music.
The Stop Making Sense Festival has first appeared on the scene in 2010. Finding itself on the end of summer festivals season, the festival has big shoes to fill. It’s held yet again in the little town of Tisno giving You an unique opportunity to visit all the festivals this summer. We’ve already mentioned the picturesque town of Tisno and The Garden, where the festival will be held, but we must say again – one of the best locations for festivals in Adriatic.

The Terraneo Festival showed up on the scene just last year, and it was already a huge success. Recognized quickly by big artists around the world, the festival has found itself on top destinations list for 2012 festivals. Hoping to repeat this succes this year, the festival will host The Horrors, Friendly Fires, The xx, The Ting Tings and many more. It’s held in Bribirski knezovi barracks, only 4 kilometres from the centre of Šibenik and 500 meters from the sea.
